PA Dance Squad:
The Performing Arts intervention program is targeted for high‑ability dancers that is designed to extend students who demonstrate advanced technical skill, creativity, and artistic expression in dance. Through specialised workshops and focused technique development, students are challenged to refine their movement vocabulary and deepen their understanding of performance artistry.
A key component of the program is choreographic exploration, where students design and develop their own dance sequences, experimenting with complex movement patterns, expressive choices, and creative intent. They collaborate in small ensembles, analyse professional works to inform their ideas, and receive guidance to shape their choreography into polished performance pieces. This intervention nurtures their talent while building confidence, resilience, and leadership as emerging young artists within the Performing Arts.
Coding Club Program
The Coding Club at Sunshine North Primary School supports students in developing strong computational thinking skills and a passion for digital creation. The program provides engaging opportunities for students to build their abilities in problem-solving, creativity, and logical reasoning.
Through project-based learning, students design and create their own digital solutions, including games, animations, and robotics projects. Working collaboratively in small teams, they explore coding concepts, experiment with algorithms, and apply critical thinking to solve real-world challenges.
Coding Club nurtures students’ technical skills while building confidence, resilience, and teamwork. It provides an inclusive and engaging environment for both beginners and experienced students to learn, create, and grow as innovative digital learners within the STEM community.
