Mathematics

At Sunshine North Primary School, we design learning in Mathematics to empower students as curious, courageous and self-regulated learners. To be numerate is to have and to be able to use appropriate mathematical knowledge, understanding skills, intuition and experience whenever they are needed in everyday life. We endeavour for every child to be able to think and solve problems mathematically by using the appropriate skills, concepts and knowledge. They will be provided with rich and enjoyable experiences related both to their individual needs and to the community.
